Take the inner and outer journey on El Camino De Santiago de Compostela, known as the way of St James and the way of the Stars, accompanied by two passionate pilgrims, Darene and Sylvie.

Place your feet on this ancient route for two weeks of the final 250km of this incredible and renowned pilgrimage, across beautiful Spain.

Prepare for wonderment and renewal on an extraordinary journey of the heart and soul, and feel that you are home. Darene and Sylvie can’t wait to walk with you across the stunning natural landscapes and through quaint villages steeped in history. 

This unique opportunity includes an intimate and magical half day retreat experience at Flores Del Camino, a restored traditional Maragato house, where we will immerse ourselves in the history of the Camino, the art of pilgrimage and sacred ritual. We will complete our experience here by making some beautiful designs based on Camino sacred architecture.

We will stay in a variety of hand-picked, quaint, simple accommodation destinations, with the intent of pilgrimage in mind. We will allow the journey to unfold serendipitously in true Camino style, to deepen your experience with the enigmatic road, that is El Camino. 

Sylvie and Darene invite you to share in the delight of their own past experiences on their pilgrimages through Spain and Italy; to find the satisfaction of walking each day, with pure joy, stillness, friendship and deep connection with yourself. It is our wish that you experience a sense of achievement, an appreciation for the robust Spanish culture and create memories that will forever be etched in your heart. 

Connection with the group, walking alone and meeting other pilgrims will be encouraged. We will walk an average of 20km per day. 

An exciting addition ~ Darene, a FasterEFT practitioner (tapping), will lead you in setting your intentions for the journey in a healing capacity and guide you through until your arrival in Santiago de Compostela. This will include group activity and one personal session. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to enjoy creative writing and poetry, yoga, Qi Gong and a massage.

Our journey will begin on the 5th of September in the pretty, historic city of Astorga, one of the first European cities to produce chocolate and known for its Roman ruins and its Episcopal Palace, designed by modernist, Antonio Gaudi. We suggest that flights be booked into Madrid as a convenient entry point, and are to be arranged by travellers, independently. Further details will be supplied, pending interest. Our journey will end in Santiago, the capital of Galicia, at the famous Cathedral and alleged burial site of the Apostle, St James. We will attend a pilgrim blessing in the Church of San Francisco, obtain our Compostela certificates and spend two nights immersed in the culture and buzz of this beautiful city, in celebration.

Space is limited to 8 people. Reserve your place with a $800 deposit (of which $400 is non-refundable after the 1^st of July 2019). The balance of payment will be due on the 1^st of July 2019.

The cost of this two-week guided pilgrimage including FasterEFT (tapping) package is AU$3200.

 This includes accommodation for 15 nights, all breakfasts, one special dinner, a half-day retreat exploring the “Art of Pilgrimage” at Flores Del Camino, a private FasterEFT session with Darene, daily guided group tapping, a yoga session, Qi Gong, one massage, a pilgrim passport and a book gift. A detailed itinerary, training guidelines and packing list will be provided.

Accommodation will be in boutique hotels, Casa Rurals, Inns and Albergues (all shared rooms). If you wish to have a private room, a single supplement can be arranged but will also depend on availability.

We will guide and support you every step of the way. The journey will always be uniquely yours and so we will have options for transfer of backpacks ahead to our night stays. There will always be the opportunity to be transported by bus or taxi to the next destination should you choose or need it at any stage. Everyone’s Camino is unique to them and there is no right or wrong way.

Not included are flights, taxes, transfers, visas, most meals, travel insurance (medical, personal liability, baggage insurance is an essential requirement) and anything else not specified here.
