- TWO SPOTS OPEN NOW – one for each Camino!
TWO spectacular adventures have been curated for Soul of My Feet Camino walkers in 2025. It’s another DREAM COME TRUE FOR US!
It is going to be a cracker of a Camino. MORE THAN EVER, our intention is for soulful, thoughtful, slow travel, appreciating everything and everyone we encounter with an open heart and a backpack full of gratitude, packed with as little as possible! Yes, we want to take the frenzy out of walking and enjoy the freedom this experience elicits with more intention. We also want to personalise it with more free time to explore, relax, journal, create, heal, chat to the locals on a cafe patio over a refreshing drink, laugh and share with our fellow travellers. As usual we want it to not only be a remarkable celebration of this world and sweetest life, but a journey to your deep interior, washed with LOVE.
Join Sylvie and Darene for one OR two of the following delights:

CAMINO TWO
15TH – 26TH JUNE (12 NIGHTS) and about 140km of walking
OH BELLISSIMA SARDINIA!
Immerse in the culture, archaeological mysteries and striking rugged beauty on sections of Sardinia’s Way/ Camino of 100 towers (Cammino 100 Torri) which circumnavigates this stunning Italian island for over 1200km. This Camino is named for the ancient stone towers that dot the coastline, which are passed en route, offering gorgeous views over turquoise waters. They are thought to be lookouts against pirate invasions. We are bound to pass a few of the almost 7000 megalithic “archaeological jewels” of the Nuragic civilisation, strewn across Sardinia, dating back to 500-1500 BC. We will step onto secluded beaches, rocky trails, dramatic cliffs, and wander through quaint fishing villages, taking in stunning Isola Rossa, Neptune’s Caves with intricate stalactites and stalagmites, and Valle della Luna, a walk amongst the lunar-like valley of white granite. We will delight in a visit to Maddalena Island, the medieval village of Castelsardo with its hilltop castle, the Catalan-influenced town of Alghero and the port town of Olbia. A highlight will be being accompanied by a local Sardinian friend and Camino walker, who will walk part of each day alongside us and transport our backpacks. What a dream! (We still recommend you carry a 9-10kg backpack in case you have to carry your own backpack at times and due to unforeseen circumstances.)

Choose between 13 nights in Andalucia, Spain, and 12 nights in Sardinia, Italy, OR join us for both.
This adventure is for you if:
- You enjoy long distance walking, are reasonably fit and healthy (able to manage a few 20-25km days and consecutive days of walking), and take responsibility for pre-walk training, which we can assist with.
- You are content to be part of a group experience and share rooms with your fellow travellers.
- You understand that we may walk in most weather conditions, including hot and rainy weather. Be aware we are walking in early Summer and Southern Spain can get hot. We are walking less kilometres and will be out of the heat before the afternoon. We have the pleasure of many swimming pools at our accommodations. You also always have the choice not to walk and catch public transport/ a taxi at your own expense.
- IMPORTANT. You are happy to “travel light” with a backpack and use a daypack option for walking. Total contents of backpacks must not exceed 9-10kg maximum. There may be situations when you may have to carry your backpack. Carrying your own backpack and travelling light is a gratifying pilgrim experience with untold benefits!
- You are not expecting a perfect, boxed, predictable tour and to be 100% guided. While we do our best to support you, and our plans are well-intentioned, you must be self-sufficient and open to the unexpected, which is part of walking a Camino. The more open you are to what unfolds and the less attached you are to outcomes, the better your experience will be. You will start to revel in the surprises that come out of nowhere! There will most likely be difficult days (not unlike daily life), but this is what makes this journey so unique and rewarding as we move through a country’s landscape, meeting the world and ourselves with great compassion.
We are focused on slow, soulful, considered travel. We are all about being intentional.
This year we have consciously reduced kilometres walked each day in consideration of some hilly terrain on both walks, which may include a few days of medium difficulty. Our aim is also to incorporate more stops to rest and time to enjoy the beauty of places we land in. More down time has been made a priority, with opportunity to peel off from the group, relax and do your own thing too. This is your Camino. Our motto is: “You do you” and you will be supported to walk your way. However, if you decide to intentionally walk independently of the group, you will be required to have digital maps and mobile phone data so we can be in touch with you and make sure you are safe. We want you to have an incredible journey!
Looking so forward to seeing you on another sacred and magical journey!

Thanks for this interesting planned Caminos for 2025. It’s my understanding that temperatures will be 30 degrees and above during the day. Is this correct for the areas you plan to walk?

Hi Annie. You’re right, Southern Spain is hotter than the Camino Frances in the North, and that’s why we’re going early June and walking less kilometres, which we’ll walk in the morning. It seems averages are 13-27 deg where we’re walking but who can really tell. We are walking in the Sierra de Grazalema where the mountains keep weather a bit cooler, and then Granada, which doesn’t get as hot as Seville. We’ve chosen accommodation with lots of swimming pools. Will be a great early Summer adventure after this year’s very cool walk on the Del Norte in May. Sardinia is cooler and we have the beach at hand! Hope you can join us. Darene x
